Reading about a career is one thing. Seeing what the work is actually like is another. One of the goals of First Look Futures is to eventually help students find appropriate career-exploration experiences, including shadowing when possible and when permitted by participating professionals and organizations.

There are no opportunities available right now. We're currently working on building the relationships and structure needed to make these experiences possible, and we won't list anything until it's real.
How the process may work
- 1Student tells us what they are interested in.
- 2We learn about their location and availability.
- 3We look for an appropriate participating professional or organization when opportunities exist.
- 4The professional or organization decides whether they can participate.
- 5Any required parent/guardian consent and organizational requirements are completed.
- 6The student participates if everything is approved.
Submitting an interest form does not guarantee an opportunity. First Look Futures is currently developing its network and resources.
