First Look Futures is being developed to help students explore careers and learn from people who actually work in different fields.
It is a student-created initiative, currently in development, starting in Atlanta, Georgia.
What to know right now
- Students are not currently being placed with professionals. That part of the initiative is still being built.
- Future opportunities may have additional requirements depending on the participating professional or organization, such as age limits, paperwork, training, or scheduling rules.
- Any required parent or guardian consent would be completed before a student participates in an in-person experience.
- For now, the site is focused on career information, questions students actually have, and resources that are being written.
